Due to the staggered wave starts of the TCB, the results and ranking will be based on chip time, which is the time from when the participant crosses the starting line and the chip on their bib is activated (chip time).

The difference between your official time and the Chip Time.

Official Time

This is the time from the starting gun (gun time). It is the time that elapses on the clock from the beginning of the race.

Chip Time

This is the time from when the participant crosses the starting line and the chip on their bib is activated (chip time). Unless you are on the first line of the race, there is inevitably a difference between the official time and the chip time.
