Results are established based on the official time, in accordance with national and global standards.
Difference between official time (Gun time) and Chip time
Official Time
- The official time corresponds to the Gun time, which is measured from the moment the starting gun is fired at the beginning of the race.
- It represents the time elapsed on the clock since the beginning of the race.
Chip Time
- The Chip Time is the time from the moment the participant crosses the starting line and the chip on their bib is triggered.
Except for participants positioned on the starting line, there is typically a difference between the official time and the Chip time.
