BEFORE THE RACE

Details concerning the distribution of bibs and t-shirts will be communicated later. Its course will be different. Mailing will be available as an option ($) when registering online. Click here to know everything about mailing. 

When registering, adding the t-shirt is optional. You will have the option of deducting an amount from your invoice or of making a donation to the Scol’ERE scholarship as compensation, if you choose not to take it.

Capacity and time per corral

As usual, each event is divided into a speed corral. New in 2021: these speed corrals have a maximum capacity, in order to avoid repeated overtaking between runners on the course. This is an adaptation given the rule of physical distancing enacted by Public Health.

They will be able to encourage you along the route, while respecting the health instructions.

Access to the sites may also be governed according to a specific schedule: events, speed corrals, starting waves, in order to limit crowds. Carefully review the detailed schedule for your event.


The start area for the half-marathon (sunday) is the Galeries Chagnon, near the Sports Experts store.

Transportation for participants

For the 21K – Sunday August 29, 2021

Participants of the 21K can park at the Galeries Chagnon, the starting site of their event, near the Sports Experts. 1200, boulevard Alphonse-Desjardins, Lévis (Quebec) G6V 6Y8

Once at the finish site, transport will be available for runners to return to the start site.

Families and friends do not have access to these shuttles, the service will be back in 2022.

Parking

Parking in the historic Saint-Romuald town centre is limited. We recommend using the shuttle service.

Bag check

The service will be maintained. Details of their operation will be communicated later. Please note that the personal effects of participants should be kept to a minimum. The runners will be invited to come to their event, ready for their departure, with clothes to give as protection during the wait. Any clothing left behind will be donated to charity.

Participants can choose to leave their personal belongings in the bag check trucks . Bags must be identified with the detachable strip at the bottom of the bib. Bags can be picked up at the finish area until 3 p.m. (sunday). There is a maximum size limit of 18’’ x 10’’ x 8’’ per bag.

Podiums will be held for the winners (Top 3 Men and Women) of the Quebec Cup 21km Championship, a few minutes after their arrival, on the Gun Time. The winners of the other distances (2km, 5km, 10km) as well as the age categories of the Quebec Championship will be highlighted via web recognition, based on Chip Time. The winners will be contacted by the organization in the days following the competition. Money prizes must be claimed no later than 30 days after the event is held.

Scholarships must be claimed no later than 30 days after the event is held. The scholarships for our Quebec Championships are reserved for members of the Quebec Athletic Federation (FQA) who reside in Quebec and who hold a valid card from the Régie de l’assurance maladie du Québec (RAMQ). Any runner who aspires to a podium should consider completing their affiliation before the date of the event. The cost is $ 20 for an out-of-stadium runner who is not a member of an affiliated club. Recognition pins for people 65 and over

To recognize the participation of people 65 and over, we give the TOP 3 in each age category a recognition pin. These will be sent to the winners by post.

Due to the physical distancing rules in force, pace bunnies will not be allowed during the 2021 races.

Kilometre markers

Kilometre markers will be placed every kilometre in ascending distance order.

Refreshment stations

Refreshments will be set up on the course. Note that participants will be encouraged to be as independent as possible by using their own hydration system. This in order to limit contacts and proximity between runners and volunteers.

A shuttle access schedule is available here. Each runner must respect his specific schedule to board the shuttle for his event.

To get on the shuttle, you must show your race number.

Shuttles will transport participants free of charge to their respective departure site, from the shuttle site, located on 2nd Street in Saint-Romuald, between 1st and 2nd Avenue. See the map below to get to the shuttle site.

Once at the finish site, transport will be available for runners to return to the shuttle site.

Friends and family do not have access to these shuttles, the service will be back in 2022.

After the start of the race, the buses will return to the arrival site for parents and accompanying persons who wish to use this service. It should be noted, however, that given the speed of the race, it is highly likely that returning bus passengers will not make it possible to arrive in time for arrivals.

Each child in the Youth Race will receive an accompanying bracelet with their bib. To get on the shuttle, you must show your race number or the accompanying bracelet.
