They will receive a digital photo in a personalized Je Cours Qc frame to immortalize this great achievement.

For the perfect spectator

Track runners

It will be possible via the Sportstats application to follow a runner in real time.

Snacks will be provided for all participants in the race finish area.

Kilometre markers will be placed every kilometre in ascending distance order.

At various points along the route, as runners, you will cross traffic boxes:

  • Quai Saint-André
  • 1st Avenue (accross from 10th Street)
  • 18th Street
  • These boxes are used to temporarily change the direction of your course to allow vehicles to pass and ensure the smooth flow of traffic.
  • These traffic boxes do not affect your total distance. They simply divert you to an alternate section of the same length as the original one.
  • This method is an effective solution for holding marathons in major urban centers.

Be attentive as you approach these locations; traffic officers will be on-site to guide you through the traffic boxes. Listen to them; it’s very simple, and everything will go smoothly!

Runners and walkers who fail to reach the following checkpoints before the time limit will be disqualified from the race:

  • Checkpoint at kilometer 16 of the 42.2km at 10:20 AM
  • Checkpoint at kilometer 26 of the 42.2km at 11:45 AM
  • Checkpoint at kilometer 32 of the 42.2km at 12:35 PM
  • Checkpoint at kilometer 36 of the 42.2km at 1:10 PM
  • Checkpoint at kilometer 39 of the 42.2km at 1:55 PM

The participants have 6 hours to complete the 42.2 km race.

There’s a total of 17 000 places available for all races of this event.

Headphone use

Please note that Athlétisme Québec does not recommend wearing headphones on the runners’ course. If you wish to run with music, you must be able to hear outside sounds such as a runner asking you to let them pass, a police officer giving you instructions or a volunteer giving you directions. Your safety and that of other participants and volunteers is at stake.

Recognition for 65 and Over

Our recognition podium for 65 and over aims to applaud the remarkable performances of runners who will place in the top 3 of the following age categories: 65-69 years, 70-74 years, 75-79 years, as well as 80 years and older. They will receive a digital photo in a personalized Je Cours Qc frame to immortalize this great achievement.

Track runners

It will be possible via the Sportstats application to follow a runner in real time.

Snacks will be provided for all participants in the race finish area.

Kilometre markers will be placed every kilometre in ascending distance order.

At various points along the route, as runners, you will cross traffic boxes:

  • Checkpoint at kilometer 7 of the 10km at 12:55 PM

The participants have 2 hours to complete the 10 km race.
