Fundraising

The mission of the Carrefour des enfants de Saint-Malo is to provide children ages 5 to 12, who live in underprivileged neighbourhoods, with a place to go, someone to talk to and a sense of belonging in an effort to fight social and emotional poverty. By organizing various activities, this non-profit organization located in Quebec City’s lower town provides support and educational guidance to the students of Saint-Malo school as well as to the residents of the Place de la Rive social housing development. Tutoring, educational and recreational activities, group cooking workshops and family outings are offered.

Through its actions, the Carrefour des enfants de Saint-Malo hopes to foster personality development in children, make parents aware of their role as educator and reduce the school dropout rate.
