Race day

BEFORE THE RACE

Start time

8:00 a.m.

Start and finish areas

The start line for the Oasis 10K is located in front of 310 Des Saphirs Street.

On the morning of the race, participants are encouraged to meet at the Marcel-Bédard Arena starting at 6 a.m. to board a shuttle to the Oasis 10K start area. The finish line is located on Des Chutes Boulevard near the Marcel-Bédard Arena, where the post-race meal will be served.

To pick up your bib or someone else’s bib, you must show the Evencour registration confirmation in paper or electronic format.

Transportation for participants

Between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m., there will be free shuttles to transport Oasis 10K participants to the start area. You must show your bib to board the shuttle. Companions are not permitted to board the shuttles. Shuttles will leave from Fargy Street in front of the Marcel-Bédard Arena as soon as they are full.

Participants are not required to use the shuttles. Participants who already have their bibs can go directly to their respective start areas. No shuttles will be returning to these sites.

Parking

There are plenty of parking options in the area around the Marcel-Bédard Arena. On weekends, free on-street parking can also be found in the neighbourhood.

Bag check

Participants can choose to leave their personal belongings in the Purolator trucks at the Oasis 10K start area. Bags must be identified with the detachable strip at the bottom of the bib. Bags can be picked up at the finish area until 12 p.m. There is a maximum size limit of 18’’ x 10’’ x 8’’ per bag.

Kilometre markers

Kilometre markers will be placed every kilometre in ascending distance order.

Refreshment stations

Water, energy drinks and toilets are available on the course at kilometre 2.7, kilometre 5 and kilometre 7.2.

Traffic

During the race, the roads along the course will be closed to vehicle traffic.
