Race day

BEFORE THE RACE

Start time

Start and finish areas

The start area for the half-marathon is on J.-B. Michaud Street in Lévis. The meeting point is at the Lévis Conference Centre (Centre des Congrès). Download the map here.

The finish line is on the grounds of the Juvénat Notre-Dame school in Saint-Romuald. The finish line is the same for all races.

Shuttle boarding area

To pick up your bib or someone else’s bib, you must show the Evencour registration confirmation in paper or electronic format.

Transportation for participants

Between 6:15 a.m. and 7:15 a.m., there will be free shuttles to transport participants to their respective start areas. You must show your bib to board the shuttle. Companions are not permitted to board the shuttles. The shuttle boarding area will be located on 2nd Street in Saint-Romuald, between 1st and 2nd Avenues. Map is coming soon.

Shuttles to and from the finish area
Shuttles will be operating between the shuttle area and the finish area from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Shuttle service is free for participants and companions.

Parking

Parking in the historic Saint-Romuald town centre is limited. We recommend using the shuttle service.

Bag check

Participants can choose to leave their personal belongings in the Purolator trucks at the half-marathon start area. Bags must be identified with the detachable strip at the bottom of the bib. Bags can be picked up at the finish area until 12 p.m. There is a maximum size limit of 18’’ x 10’’ x 8’’ per bag.

DURING THE RACE

Pace bunnies

Continuous: 01:30, 01:45, 02:00, 02:15, 02:30

Run/walk: 01:30, 01:45, 02:00, 02:15, 02:30

Run/walk pace bunnies follow a cadence of ten minutes running to one minute walking.

Kilometre markers

Kilometre markers will be placed every kilometre in ascending distance order.

Refreshment stations

The course has a total of seven refreshment stations located at 2.5 km intervals. Water and toilets are available at all stations. The last six stations will also have Gatorade.

For half-marathon (21.1 km) participants, Rekarb energy gel will be available at refreshment station #5, about 8 kilometres before the finish.

Traffic

During the race, the roads along the course will be closed to vehicle traffic. Map is coming soon.

  • Under 50 minutes – RED enclosure
  • 50–55 minutes – YELLOW enclosure
  • 55–60 minutes – BLUE enclosure
  • 60–65 minutes – GREEN enclosure
  • Over 65 minutes – PURPLE enclosure

Participants will select their start corral at the time of registration.

Children and their parents will be transported free of charge from the Juvénat Notre-Name school to the Tanguay Kids Race start line. The shuttles will leave at 10:40 a.m. Note that buses will not return to the finish area, so parents and companions must return to the finish on foot with their children.
